The role


Bob’s Business is now searching for a Customer Service Executive who has the ability to provide our customers with a fantastic service to join their well-capitalised and ambitious company for the next phase of growth. Based in Barnsley, the team will rapidly scale over the next 24 months.


The primary purpose of the role is to manage and build long term customer relationships through trust and quality of service delivered.


What you will be doing


  • Providing an outstanding level of customer care by identifying appropriate customer needs, gathering appropriate information accurately and with care.
  • Pro-actively managing the customer journey either by customer calls, emails or visits.
  • Supporting customers with any portal and course queries.
  • Supporting the technical team in the delivery of phishing campaigns.
  • Providing outstanding service to all of our partner clients.
  • Continually improving customer processes by seeking regular feedback and raising issues and areas of concern so that tangible improvements can be recommended.
  • Supporting opportunities to retain business, by understanding fully what a customer is asking for and providing a tailored response.

What you'll bring


Qualifications and Experience


  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of CMS and email management tools, such as Hubspot.
  • The ability to work well within a small team but also be able to use own initiative should you have to work alone.
  • A willing and keen interest in getting to know a business and understand how they can contribute.

Knowledge and Skills


  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Be well organised and passionate about providing a great service.
  • Strong listening, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Comfortable with conflict management.
